The first task of the people of God is to offer worship and praise to our Creator, and we have done so since 1879 as First Christian Church and Dozier Christian Church.  In 1968 the two old churches combined to form Central Christian Church.

Today's worship includes special music, sermon and communion every Sunday, plus lay ministers who serve as musicians, liturgists, offer the Children's Conversation, the Communion Invitation, and occasional sermons. Our worship inspires us towards mission, and our church has been instrumental in establishing agencies for mission both locally and globally.
